Here’s what the space at La Marqueta looked like during build out a couple weeks back. We are trying to figure out some last minute refrigeration issues and then will be ready to open!

We’re happy to announce the launch of our 2010 CSA Select program!

On Saturday, we provided our members with access to Holton Farms CSA Select Online, where they’re able to pick and choose the items they’d like each week.

Here’s a screenshot of what our members saw when they signed in for the first time:

On Monday, we’ll be debuting our Farm Truck and making drop-offs at the following locations:

• Lexington Ave & E 96th Street – 12PM – 1PM
• Hunter College – 2PM – 3PM
• Park Ave & E 56th Street – 4PM – 5PM
• Grand Central – 5:30PM – 7PM

We really appreciate your business, patience and understanding as we launched our pilot CSA Select program in New York City and Vermont for the first time in 2009. We had 40 wonderful members who made all the hard work worth it.

We promise that this year’s CSA Select program is going to be even better than last. We’ve added multiple daily drop offs, established a local warehouse and employed full time CSA staff.    Here are some of the highlights:

• Three membership levels to choose from give you credit to spend at our farm from May-November
• Almost 30 different drop off locations throughout Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn
• Huge selection of 100+ ultra-fresh items, including organic veggies, fruits, meats, eggs, cheeses, breads, desserts, ice cream, coffee, maple products and honey
• Customized online ordering – order what you want, when you want
• Portion of your purchases goes to subsidize fresh veggies & fruits for low-income New Yorkers
